Let's learn about Twilight Peaks!
Believe it or not: Legend has it that dragons have been seen circling high up in the clouds near the mountains.
To the north are the snow filled mountains of Twilight Peaks.
You can expect to find a mixture of climates and animals living and visiting here. At the highest peaks of the mountain ranges you will find a ski resort with ski lifts that go all over the mountain from the top to the bottom. Near the lower areas of Twilight Peaks you will find beautiful fields of wild flowers and streams running down from the snow filled peaks above. You find most often bears, goats, wolves, puffins, and bats mostly living here. Their homes are built into caves up high in the mountain and log cabins in the fields below.

Let's learn about Rivervale!
Did you know? Amphibians can breathe on the land or in the water. This makes Rivervale a GREAT home for them.
To the east of Venture Village lies a convergence of rivers called Rivervale.
Residents here live in homes on the shore and in the water. Some live in houseboats, while others along the shore line in houses built on docks that line the river banks. On sunny days you will see folks like turtles, otters, hippos, alligators, and black birds all bathing in the sun. You are in for a relaxing time here in Rivervale with lots of sunshine, warm breezes, and wispy clouds.

This month let's learn about Sharewood!
Heading out of Venture Village to the west is Sharewood.
Sharewood is a lively community full of large trees and lots of shade. The animals who live here made their homes in the trees. From big houses sitting on the tree tops to small homes carved into the base of the trunks. Occasionally you will find a humble burrow, stick built shack, or log cabin. The weather here is cool on most days, rainy on some, and in the summer a nice warm breeze can be felt through the branches. Animals found here include rabbits, deer, songbirds, butterflies, bears, and bees.
Actual Shipping Rates
We have updated Backerkit to reflect the actual shipping rates. You do not have to do anything, but if you would like to review charges you will go into your survey using your original link. Since we do not plan to ship until later this Summer we'll keep the surveys open to allow for changes and will not charge cards until later. You'll be notified at least 48 hours prior to when we lock down orders and charge cards.
Please refer to the chart below for your actual shipping rates. We're doing weight-based shipping, so if you added on more items you can expect a higher shipping cost than the chart lists.

This month let's learn about Oasis City!
Each update we'll show off an excerpt from Venture Society. This month, let's learn a little more about the metro area south of Venture Village, the hot and dry Oasis City.
In this desert sits a flashy and full of personality community. The people who live here call it The Oasis, the City of Inspiration. This is where all the creative big dreamers and even bigger personalities live, play, and create. They live in bright, colorful apartment buildings and lavishly decorated Villas. Many musicians, artists, actors, and performers of all sorts live and create here.
At night the city really comes to life where everything is brightly lit with signs, colorful lights line houses and personalities shine everywhere. Walking the streets it is common to see camels, lizards, snakes, scorpions, vultures, and meerkats who live here. It’s easy to find your way here at night so please visit Oasis City.
